Terms of Use of the Video Consultation Service
This document sets out the specific terms that apply to the Video Consultation service offered by Dr. David Moreno Ramírez through this website. We recommend reading it before submitting your request.

Purpose of the service
These Terms govern the provision of the Medical Video Consultation service offered by Dr. David Moreno Ramírez, specialist in Medical-Surgical Dermatology and Venereology, through the website www.drmorenodermatologia.com.
A video consultation is a medical consultation carried out using remote communication systems. It allows for the clinical assessment of the patient, diagnostic guidance, the request of additional tests where necessary, a treatment proposal and, where appropriate, the issuing of a medical report and an electronic prescription in accordance with current regulations.
The purpose of the service is to provide specialist medical care when the clinical assessment can be properly carried out through a remote consultation, avoiding unnecessary travel while maintaining the standards of quality of care and confidentiality inherent to medical practice.
What does the Video Consultation involve?
The video consultation lasts approximately 30 minutes and is adapted to the needs of each patient.
During the consultation, Dr. David Moreno Ramírez will carry out an individual assessment of the reason for the consultation and of the relevant medical history provided by the patient.
Where clinically indicated, the service may include:
- Personalised dermatological assessment.
- Diagnostic guidance or confirmation.
- Recommendation of additional tests.
- Treatment proposal.
- Medical report.
- Electronic prescription, where appropriate and in accordance with current regulations.
The video consultation takes place on a secure communication platform, which will be indicated to the patient in advance.
Booking the Video Consultation
Bookings are made through the form available on this website.
Once the request has been received, the patient will receive an email with the instructions needed to complete the booking, including the link to make payment through a secure banking platform.
The appointment will be confirmed once payment has been verified.
Requirements for the Video Consultation
For the video consultation to run properly, the patient will need:
- A device with a camera and microphone (computer, tablet or mobile phone).
- A stable internet connection.
- A private space that ensures the confidentiality of the consultation.
- Relevant medical documentation and clinical images, where applicable.
The patient is responsible for providing truthful and complete clinical information and for sending any requested documentation before the consultation when this is necessary for a proper assessment.
How the Video Consultation is conducted
The video consultation will be carried out personally by Dr. David Moreno Ramírez on the previously agreed date and time.
During the consultation, images, medical reports and any other clinical documentation provided by the patient may be reviewed in order to reach an individual medical assessment.
If the doctor considers that a physical examination is essential for a proper clinical assessment, he may recommend an in-person consultation or other additional tests before making a definitive diagnosis or establishing a treatment.
Technical problems
If technical issues not attributable to the patient prevent the video consultation from taking place properly, a new appointment will be offered at no additional cost.
If the issues are caused by the patient’s device or connection, every effort will be made to resume the consultation whenever possible.
Appointment changes and cancellations
The patient may request a change to the date or time of the video consultation at least 24 hours in advance, subject to availability.
Requests made with less notice will be considered individually where there are justified reasons.
Once the video consultation has started, the service will be considered to have been provided.
Limitations of the service
A video consultation is a medical consultation carried out remotely and has certain inherent limitations due to the absence of a direct physical examination.
The service does not replace in-person medical care when this is clinically necessary.
It is not an emergency service. In any urgent or potentially serious situation, the patient must go immediately to the nearest emergency department or contact the relevant emergency services.
Data protection and confidentiality
All clinical information provided during the video consultation will be treated in strict confidence and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 and applicable healthcare regulations.
Personal data and clinical documentation will be used exclusively to provide the requested healthcare and in accordance with the Privacy Policy published on this website.
Applicable law
These Terms of Service are governed by Spanish law.
Any matter arising from the interpretation or application of these terms will be resolved in accordance with current regulations.
