Terms of Use of the Second Opinion Service
This document sets out the specific terms that apply to the Second Opinion service offered by Dr. David Moreno Ramírez through this website. We recommend reading it before submitting your request.

Purpose of the service
The Specialist Medical Second Opinion Programme aims to provide an independent and personalised medical assessment, carried out by Dr. David Moreno Ramírez, specialist in Medical-Surgical Dermatology and Venereology, based on the clinical documentation provided by the patient.
The purpose of the Second Opinion is to provide specialist medical information that may help the patient and their treating doctor make diagnostic or therapeutic decisions.
Requesting the service
Requests are made through the form available on this website. Once the request has been received, the patient will receive an email with the instructions needed to complete the process, including access to the secure payment system and to the portal for submitting medical documentation.
Payment
The medical assessment will only begin once payment has been confirmed and all the documentation needed to study the case has been received. Payment is made through a secure banking platform.
Clinical documentation
The patient must provide all relevant medical information to allow a proper clinical assessment. Documents that may be requested include medical reports, pathology results, biopsies, clinical photographs, CT scans, MRI scans and other additional tests. If the documentation is insufficient, further information may be requested before the assessment begins.
Preparation of the report
The Second Opinion will be prepared personally by Dr. David Moreno Ramírez. Where appropriate, the report will include: diagnostic assessment, prognostic assessment, review of the studies provided, additional diagnostic recommendations and treatment recommendations based on the available scientific evidence.
Delivery time
The report will be sent within a maximum of 5 working days from receipt of payment and of all the necessary documentation. If further information needs to be requested, this period will start from receipt of the complete documentation.
Limitations of the service
The Medical Second Opinion is a clinical assessment based solely on the documentation provided by the patient. It does not replace a physical examination, an in-person consultation or the follow-up provided by the treating doctor. If an in-person assessment or other additional examinations are considered necessary, the patient will be informed.
Cancellation and refunds
The patient may cancel the request before the medical assessment begins. Once the individual study of the case has started, the amount paid will not be refunded, as this is a personalised professional service.
Data protection
The clinical documentation submitted will be treated in strict confidence and in accordance with the Privacy Policy published on this website.
